NFF General Secretary, Mohammed Sanusi, in an interaction with journalists, said the federation has saddled consultants with the responsibility of selecting coaches for the other men and women’s national teams.
He noted that the consultants are responsible for recruiting and recommending coaches for the Super Falcons, Under-23 Eagles, Flying Eagles, Falconets, Flamingos, Golden Eaglets and Future Eagles for the NFF executive to approve and announce the appointments.
Sanusi said that Nigeria has some qualifying matches, starting with the Under-17 women’s team early March, and shall hopefully announce a list of successful coaches for the approval of the NFF Executive Committee.
Super Eagles Coach Gernot Rohr contract with the NFF will expire in June, but he is expected to resume discussions for a new contract in February.
