
The Force Commander, Multinational Joint Task Force, MNJTF, Major General Abdul-Khalifah Ibrahim has called for a focused and proactive partnership between MNJTF and United Kingdom (UK) forces to defeat terrorism.
He gave the advice during the send-off in honour of the Commander, Liaison and Support Team, MNJTF, Lieutenant Colonel Segolene Hobson of the British Army on the occasion of her successful completion of tour of duty in N’djamena.
Chief of Military Public Information for MNJTF, Colonel Muhammad Dole, made this known in a statement in N’djamena Chad.
Ibrahim noted that such global alliance and collaboration would open opportunities to explore common goals and aspirations in the fight against terror and speedily end terrorism in the Lake Chad region. He commended Hobson for her outstanding performance and commitment to promoting cooperation and mutual support between the MNJTF, Centre for Coordination and Liaison and operation TURUS.
Similarly, the Force Commander also hailed the outgoing Chief Military Intelligence Officer (J2), Colonel I.M. Kabir of the Nigerian Army, for his deep analysis of information and near-perfect projections.
