The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF says hiring a top-quality Coach for the Super Falcons remains the priority of the Federation.

NFF President Amaju Pinnick said Thomas Dennerby who resigned during the Olympic qualifier in 2019, following conflicting differences with the federation replacement is yet to name.

Pinnick during a live session on NFF’s official Instagram page said the federal is working diligently to secure a good Coach for the record African women champions.

He added that the NFF would get top grade friendly matches for the team and also prioritise the qualification of the Under-17 and Under-20 Women National Teams for their various FIFA World Cup competitions.

However, former Super Falcons’ Coach Ismaila Mabo has called on the federation to select Coaches among female former internationals who have the psychology of playing for the national team and will be passionate enough to deliver success for Nigeria.
