Super Falcons will open their final training camp at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja, on June 29 in preparation for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup to be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand.
The women’s soccer festival will be held from July 20 to August 20, 2023.
Director of Media/Communications, Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Ademola Olajire, said the women are being urged informed to be in their best possible condition for the World Cup.
Coach Randy Waldrum’s tutored, will face co-hosts, Australia, Olympic champions, Canada and debutants, Republic of Ireland, in Group A at the World Cup.
The nine-time African champions’ first match will be against Canada on July 21 before they face Australia on July 27. They will end their group matches against the Republic of Ireland on July 31.
