that 25,000 civil servant have been targeted for training in the redesigned Structured Mandatory Assessment-Based Training Programme SMAT-P by 2020.
Oyo-Ita said this in a meeting with Executive Officers of Manpower Development Institutions in Abuja.
She explained that the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation conducted a Training Needs Assessment survey of employees service-wide to facilitate the development and delivery of targeted and impactful training programmes.
She said that all federal civil servants on Grade Levels seven to seventeen were requested to complete the survey, adding that 1,076 employees participated in the survey.
According to her, in the federal civil service strategy plan there are eight priority areas that the officer is expected to concentrate on for improved productivity and efficiency.
