Reports say residents of Damari in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State have fled their community, as hundreds of terrorists on motorbikes attacked the village.
A source added that the gunmen came on motorcycles, as each bike carrying the rider and two others. The source also hinted that it was rumoured that the came on a revenge mission.
It added that they were looking for members of the group Malam Abba, a very wicked and dangerous bandit leader.
However, Kaduna State Police Command Spokesman ASP Mohammed Jalige was quoted to have said he had contacted the officer in charge of the area to link up with other security agents so as to rescue the situation in Damari.
