Meanwhile, the governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the last governorship election in Kogi State, Murtala Ajaka, has decried Friday’s attack on his person by suspected hoodlums while he was exiting the Supreme Court.
Ajaka was at the apex court to witness the delivery of judgment in the appeal he filed seeking to void the victory of Governor Ahmed Ododo of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the election held on November 11, 2023.
In a statement, Ajaka urged the Inspector General of Police (IGP) and other relevant security agencies to investigate the vicious attack on him and his supporters.
