The Nigerian government has commended the Niger state Governor,Umar Bago, for carrying out intervention works on Federal roads across the state.
The minister of works, Senator Dave Umahi,gave the commendation during an engagement between the ministry, Niger state government and contractors handling various federal road projects in the state.
Senator Umahi, who described Governor Bago’s efforts as unprecedented, called on other Governors to emulate him.
Governor Umar Bago, disclosed at the meeting,that the state is intervening in 18 federal road projects across the state and the idea is to complement the effort of president Bola Tinubu to achieve the Renewed hope agenda.
