The National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA has received another batch of 153 stranded Nigerians from Libya.

The Director-General of the agency, Mustapha Maihajja, represented by an official of the agency, Slaku Lugard, received the returnees today in Lagos.

Maihaja said that the Nigerians arrived at the Cargo Wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.

He said that the Nigerians were brought by the International Organisation for Migration, IOM and European Union on the platform of the Assisted Voluntary Returnees, AVR Programme.

Maihaja added that the returnees comprised fifty nine female adults, four female children and seven female infants as well as seventy eight adult males, three male children and two male infants.
