President Muhammadu Buhari has restated his commitment towards infrastructural development in the Niger-Delta.
Buhari, who stated this during his campaign rally in Yenagoa, also said the fight against corruption is sacrosanct to ensure economic development in the country.
According to him, we have recorded great successes in the fight against corruption, insecurity and have attained economic stabilisation within the three and a half years of my administration.
On the 16 billion dollars spent by the previous administration on the power sector, the president said he would ensure that a probe is carried out and the money recovered.
Earlier, former governor of Bayelsa and leader of APC in the state, Timipre Sylva, urged the people of the state to vote for Buhari and all APC candidates during February 16 presidential and national assembly election.
