The People’s Democratic Party, PDP is to file a petition at the election Tribunal, Abuja, this followed its decision to contest the outcome of last the recently concluded Presidential elections.
The party made this known at its expanded caucus meeting which was held at the PDP national secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Abuja.
The Party’s National Chairman Uche Secondus said the decision to seek legal redress was largely informed by what he called the brazen rigging of the polls by the All Progressives Congress, APC.
While alleging that staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC were intimidated to carry out the bidding of the ruling party; Secondus flayed the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government’s use of the military to harass the electorate in some parts of the country in the course of the elections.
He said nothing will make PDP waver in the pursuit of justice.
