The federal government says it has commenced the disbursement process for the presidential conditional grant scheme to verified applicants.
President Bola Tinubu, on October 17, 2023, launched the renewed hope conditional cash transfer to 15 million households.
According to a statement on Tuesday by the office of the ministry of industry, trade, and investment, several beneficiaries have already received their grants, marking the beginning of the disbursement strategy.
By April 19, the ministry said significant disbursement will be made to a sizable number of confirmed applicants.
The federal government said the phased disbursement process has been established to guarantee each application is given the consideration it deserves.
