The Nigerian Institute of Management, NIM has urged the Federal Government to address the nation’s infrastructure deficit, security issues and policy inconsistency.
The institute’s President, Iyanda Olukunle said at a news briefing in Lagos that these were the root causes of unemployment in the country.
The expert said that the country should adopt a structure that would allow each constituency unit to adopt its peculiarities without compromising national interest.
Iyanda urged the government to invest more in building the education and knowledge capacity of citizens, demonetise politics toward attracting credible people with national interests into the governance space.
He said that doing this would address issues of ethnicity, disharmony, suspicions, unrest and insecurity that had affected development of the country.$PnWT
