New Coach: NFF Receives Ministerial Approval To Sack Rohr

The Ministry of Youths and Sports Development has approved the sacking the present Gernot Rohr and hire a more competent Coach for the Super Eagles.

Reports say this was part of the resolution reached at the meeting held in Abuja between the Minister of Sports, Sunday Dare and the President of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF Amaju Pinnick.

It added that among many other issues discussed, the Sports Minister gave the NFF approval to pay-off Coach Rohr and find a replacement.

It was also gathered the Minister maintained that before the federation would employ a new Coach, it must prove it can pay either whole or substantial part of the money that is due to the embattled coach.

NFF president, Amaju Pinnick, while speaking to newsmen after the meeting, said meeting touched on a wide range of issues for the good of Nigerian football and the Eagles.
