The Commandant, Nigerian Defence Academy NDA, Major General Jamil Sarham, has pledged to support the National Museum in its activities, especially in promoting the cherished values, culture and customs of the Nigerian people.
Sarham made the remarks when he received the Kaduna State Curator, National Museum and Monument, who paid him a courtesy visit in Kaduna.
The commandant said NDA will continue to partner with the national museum, assuring that the military has deep respect for the traditions and culture of the people.
He said NDA is open to offering any form of support to the national museum.
In his remarks, the Curator, Muhammad Gimba, said their visit was to deepen existing collaboration with the NDA.
Gimba said the museum as non-profit organization, collect, preserve and exhibit tangible and intangible historical objects to communicate, promote and improve the people’s culture.
Gimba also disclosed that NDA has being the most renowned partners to national museum Kaduna over the years.
