The Acting Managing Director of the Niger-Delta Development Company, NDDC Kemebradikumo Pondei and his team today, walked out on lawmakers probing the alleged 40 billion naira irregular expenditure in the commission.

Pondei walked out of the hearing, after accusing the Chairman of the committee Olubumi Tunji-Ojo of different crimes against the NDDC and he has responded in the press.

He added that Tunji-Ojo is an interested party and does  not believe that the NDDC can have justice because he cannot seat on his own case.

The Acting Managing Director explained that they have  no issue of appearing, as his team had appeared before the Senate ad-hoc committee and as long as Tunji-Ojo reminds his team will not make any presentation.
