The Director general, DG, of the National Youth Service Corps, Brigadier General YD Ahmed has appealed for collective efforts in the search of missing Corps Member Yahaya Farouk.
During his visit to residents of Ikuru town, in Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers State, which is the host community of the missing Corps Member, General Ahmed urged the youths and elders of the community to assist the security agencies in searching for the Corps Member.
The DG harped that his administration would continue to appeal for adequate security and welfare of Corps Members at all times.
General YD stated further that it is also the responsibility of residents of Corps Members’ host communities to provide security and welfare package for Corps Members serving in their domain.
