The Syrian foreign ministry is demanding the United Nations Security Council to take a stand against the Israeli invasion of Syrian territories.
The Ministry in separate letters sent to the Secretary General and President of the UN Security Council drew attention to what it terms criminal aggression of the Zionist regime in Damascus.
The letters stated that on Friday, July 22, 2022, the Israeli forces fired
rockets from the occupied Golan Heights to the suburbs of Damascus.
Syrian Authorities claimed that the missile attack left 3 Syrian soldiers killed.
While emphasizing its right to respond to repeated Israeli aggressions by
using the appropriate tools approved by international law and the UN Charter, Syria Affairs called on the Security Council and the UN Secretariat to take responsible actions condemning Israel.
