President Tinubu orders the Federal Road Safety Corps, to improve highway monitoring and reduce number of road accidents.
The marching order comes following the death of 40 persons in an auto crash on Sunday on their way for the Maulud Day celebration.
The accident which left many injured. According to the statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
President Tinubu condoled with members and leaders of the Tijjaniyya Movement in Nigeria.
The statement said the victims were on their way from Kwandari in Plateau State to a Maulud Nabiy celebratory event in Saminaka, Kaduna State when their bus collided with a truck at Lere town of Kaduna State.
