The Nigerian Institute of Leather and Science Technology Zaria tasked matriculating students to tolerate and respect the beliefs, rights, ideologies and privileges of others.

The Institution’s Acting Director General, Eucharia Ngozi-Oparah, made the disclosure at the 2018/19 matriculation ceremony held at the institute in Samaru, Zaria, Kaduna State.

She explained that sticking to such principles was the only way to foster harmonious and peaceful coexistence in a cosmopolitan environment of the Institute’s campus.

Ngozi-Oparah cautioned the students against engaging in cultism, drugs abuse, alcoholism, examination malpractice and all other sorts of social vices to pave way for smooth academic success.

She identified examination malpractice as the shortest route to expulsion from the institute, adding that offenders would punished.
