The United Nations Children Fund UNICEF has commended the existing robust partnership between the agency and Kwara Government in promoting child and maternal health.
The Chief Field Officer Kaduna, Zakari Adam, stated this on the sidelines of the two-day End of Year Review and Planning Meeting in Ilorin.
He observed that UNICEF activities have always been welcome and appreciated, moreso by the present administration that has released counterpart funding to support the agency activities in the state.
He noted that UNICEF was in the state to review programme cooperation for year 2021 and the coming 2022.
