Malaysian University, NITT Collaborate To Foster Transport Technology

The University of Technology, Malaysia UTM and the Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology NITT have signed a Memorandum of Understanding MoU to advance research collaborations, staff development programmes, staff mobility and exchange.

The Minister of State for Transportation, Ademola Adegoroye, in a statement by the ministry’s Director of Press and Public Relations, Eric Ojiekwe, said the move was commendable.

Adegoroye lauded the efforts of University of Technology, Malaysia UTM and NITT to develop competent human capital in the field of logistics and transportation.

The minister said that UTM was chosen due to its world-class education and research offerings and high employability among its graduates.

The MoU was signed by UTM Vice-Chancellor, Ismail and the Director and Chief Executive of NITT, Bayero Farah.

Nigeria’s Minister of State for Transportation, Adegoroye and the High Commissioner of Nigeria to Malaysia, Ambassador Hajara Salim, witnessed the occasion.
