The Kaduna State Government has cautioned travellers against violating the stay-at-home order imposed to curb Covid-19 spread, noting that no traveller is allowed into the state during curfew hours.

The Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, who gave the warning in a statement at the end of the meeting of the State Standing Committee on COVID-19 in Kaduna, said any traveller who flouted the order risked being quarantined for 14 days.
He added that the latest order to travellers into the state during curfew hours, took effect as from today, Thursday.
The statement said those denied entry will be asked to return to where they were coming from, while those who want to enter the state will be quarantine for 14 days in an isolation facility.
It added that security agencies have been instructed to turn back people at entry points into the state like the Kaduna-Abuja road, Kaduna-Birnin Gwari Road, Kaduna-Zaria-Kano road, Kachia Road, the Bwari-Jere-Kagarko Road, Gumel-Kwoi-Keffi road, Zaria-Funtua Road and the Jos-Manchock Road.
