Some bandits have again attacked travellers along Kaduna-Birnin-Gwari highway in Kaduna State for the second time in two days, killing six persons and kidnaped many.
The incident occurred at Unguwar Geda, few metres from Zankoro, a dreaded location along the highway.
A resident, who pleaded anonymity, said his younger brother is among those who were kidnapped. Another resident of Udawa, Mohammad Umaru, confirmed that his younger brother was also killed in the attack.
However, the Kaduna State Police Command is yet to comment on the incident.
It would be also recalled that the Police had earlier said over 40 of the passengers who were kidnapped on Wednesday had been rescued.
