The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN says another set of 10 kidnapped students of Bethel Baptist High School, Maraban Damishi, in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna state, have been released, bringing the total of those freed to 110.
CAN Chairman Kaduna State chapter Reverend John Joseph Hayab, confirmed the release of the students, adding that the students were freed on Sunday afternoon.
He said 11 students now with the bandits, and thanked all Nigerians for their prayers and support, while trusting God that the rest will be released very soon.
It would be recalled that in the early hours of July 5, bandits invaded the school and kidnapped 121 students.
Also Kaduna state Police Command Spokesman ASP Muhammad Jalige has confirmed the release of the students.
