The 44 Newly Elected Kano State local Governments chairmen have been sworn – in by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.
The Chairmen took the oath of office delivered by Attorney general and Commissioner of Justice, Barrister Haruna Dederi in Kano, after the Chairman Kano State Independent Electoral Commission, Professor Sani Malumfashi, presented them with certificates of return.
Addressing the new councils leadership which has one woman, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf employ them to discharge their responsibilities with the fear of Allah and work for the interest and development of the state.
