President Muhammadu Buhari has restated his administration’s determination to create jobs for the country youth population.

He said the Federal Government has prioritised agriculture, housing and infrastructure development.

The President stated this when Director General of the International Labour Organisation, ILO, Guy Ryder, visited him in Abuja.

He stressed that it is impossible to continue to import food with the nation’s population, adding that a country with a population of close to two hundred million has to be able to feed itself.

Responding, Ryder told President Buhari that he visited Nigeria to attend the Global Youth Employment Forum where over sixty countries have gathered to address the most pressing challenge of finding decent jobs for young people.
