The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, IPMAN has called on the Federal Government to take urgent steps to reopen petrol products supplies to Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC Depot in Emene, Enugu.
The new Caretaker Committee Chairman of IPMAN, Enugu NNPC Depot Community, Chinedu Anyaso, made the call during the inauguration of the new leadership of the branch in Enugu.
Anyaso also decried deplorable roads in the South-East, adding that the current state of road facilities left untold hardships including insecurity and other challenges to the economy people of the South-East.
The new IPMAN boss however, assured the public of the marketers’ commitment to even and steady supply of petroleum products in the zone and its environs throughout the yuletide at the official price.
Speaking, Chairman of the event and Senior Special Assistant to the National President of IPMAN, Linus Mbakaogu noted that the successful inauguration of the caretaker committee had sealed the peace that had been established through Governor Ugwuanyi’s intervention.
