The Ministry of Interior has inaugurated a task force to ensure delivery of it’s mandate of improving internal security and governance of the country.

The Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Aishetu Ndayako, inaugurated the task force in Abuja.

She urged the team to work together to ensure that the policies and programmes of the ministry were effectively implemented for the benefit of all Nigerians.

Ndayako said timely delivery of the ministry’s responsibilities would enhance national security and economy and ensure good governance.

Earlierthe Special Adviser to the President on Policy and Coordination, , Hadiza Bala-Usman, represented by Mr Uyi Osagie, said the relevant staff should be properly trained for the overall development of the country.
