A senior handball player Sam Samora, has commended the coaching crew of the national cadet and junior teams for their victorious outing at the just-concluded Zone 3 International Handball Federation IHF Challenge Trophy in Niamey, Niger Republic.

The national Under 18 girls emerged winner in the Cadet category, while the Under 20 team placed 2nd in the junior category of the tournament held from February 25th to March 3rd.

Samora said that the preparedness of the teams was apparent from the comprehensive programmes evolved by the technical crew while they were in camp.

He added that the performances were a great achievement to the handball family and the nation at large, as the cadet team has made itself a force to reckon with in the continent.
