Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, has inaugurated the Handing Over Notes, Collation and Transition Committee, in line with the Presidential Transition Council’s DEVELOPMENT,PTC directive.
The committee was inaugurated by the Permanent Secretary in the ministry, Nasir Sani Gwarzo, in Abuja.
According to the statement, while the committee is chaired by the permanent secretary, the Director Planning Research and Statistics, Peter Nwakpa, will serve as its secretary.
Sani-Gwarzo said that President Muhammadu Buhari had approved the establishment of a PTC, to facilitate and manage the 2023 transition programme.
He explained that the committee was expected to ensure the collation and harmonisation of the handing over notes from all departments, agencies and programmes under the supervision of the, ministry in the approved template.
He emphasised that the committee had three weeks to complete the assignment and submit the first draft on Tuesday, March.28.
