The Nigeria’s Super Falcons beat Slovenian 3-0 in a friendly encounter as they rounded off their preparations for the 2019 Women’s World Cup in France.

Barcelona Ladies’ striker Asisat Oshoala grabbed a brace with substitute Uchenna Kanu netting the other goal.

Super Falcons Head Coach Thomas Dennerby started that the game with a strong line-up with the likes of Oshoala, Francisca Ordega, Rita Chikwelu, Halimatu Ayinde, Desire Oparanozie and Onome Ebi among the starters.

Young goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie who impressed in the WAFU Women’s Cup in Ivory Coast last month, was also handed a starting shirt ahead of regular first choice Tochukwu Oluehi.

Oshoala opened score for the African champions in the 18th minute. The Barcelona forward added the second eight minutes later as the Falcons made their dominance count. The Nigerians pressed for more goals after the break, but the Slovenians were resolute at the back.
