Super Falcons Coach Thomas Dennerby has included eight home-based players in his twenty seven-man list for the final camp in Austria ahead of the 2019 Women’s World Cup in France, scheduled for June 7th to July 7th.

Nigeria’s final list of twenty three players for the Women’s World Cup will emerge from this group of twenty seven, with four players to be excluded from the final squad towards the end of the two-week camping in Austria.

The Nigeria Football Federation’s Head of Women Football, Ruth David said that the African champions would depart from Abuja for Austria on May 20th for Austria, the same facility where the Super Eagles had their final camping before the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

The Super Falcons will depart from Austria on June 4th for France, where they will open their World Cup campaign against Norway on June 8th.
