The Technical Director of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF Austin Eguavoen and former Super Eagles midfielder, Garba Lawal have commended the new field of the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, venue of the ongoing Aisha Buhari Invitational Women’s Football Tournament in Lagos.
The duo, who spoke on the sidelines of the competition, wants the stadium’s grass, which was constructed by Monimichelle Group, imitation across country.
The former Super Eagles Coach also applauded the organisers of the Aisha Buhari Cup, saying it was a good test for the Super Falcons.
Also, former international, Garba Lawal, said he would also like to see fields like the one at the remodeled Mobolaji Johnson Arena turf across Nigeria. He noted that the pitch is fantastic, superb.
