Nigeria’s Super Eagles has dropped three places from 42nd to 45th in the latest World Ranking released by the Federation of International Football Association.
The Eagles, currently on an eight-game unbeaten run, however maintained their third position in Africa behind Senegal and Tunisia, who are ranked 23rd and 25th.
Senegal moved up one spot in the ranking, while Tunisia moved up three places.
Nigeria’s group opponents at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, Guinea and Madagascar dropped places. Guinea dropped three places from 67th to 71 while Madagascar slipped from 107 to 108. Burundi moved up two places from 138 to 136 in the ranking.
The next world ranking will be published on July 25.
