The Federal Government is yet to release funds to Ministries, Departments and Agencies for the implementation of capital projects, forty-three days after the 2019 budget was signed into law by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Buhari had on 27th May, signed the 2019 budget of eight point nine, one trillion naira, made up of capital expenditure of two point, zero nine trillion naira, recurrent expenditure of four point zero seven trillion naira, statutory transfers of five hundred and two billion naira, fiscal deficit of one point ninety two trillion naira and special intervention of five hundred billion naira.
