The Accountant-General of the Federation, Ahmed Idris has said that the Federal Government shared about six hundred and sixteen billion naira as revenue generated in April to the three tiers of government.
The amount showed a decrease of about one point thirty seven billion naira from what was shared in March.
Idris, represented by the Director of Funds in his Office, Mohammed Usman stated this at a news conference at the end of the monthly Federation Accounts Allocation Committee, FAAC meeting in Abuja.
Giving a breakdown of the revenue accrued in April, Idris said that the mineral revenue increased by fifty six point eight billion naira, moving from over three hundred and eight billion naira in March to over three hundred and sixty five billion naira in April.
In addition, he said the non-mineral revenue increased by fifteen point four six billion naira, that is from one hundred and thirty eight billion naira in March to more than one hundred and fifty three billion niara in April.
