Faac: Fg, States, Lgs Share N1.143trn For May              The Federation Accounts Allocation Committee FAAC, shared 1.143 trillion naira among the Federal Government, states and Local Government Councils for May.

The revenue was shared at the June meeting of the Committee, chaired by the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun.

According to a communiqué issued by the committee at the end of the meeting, the 1.143 trillion naira total revenue comprised statutory revenue of 157.183 billion naira, Value Added Tax VAT revenue of 463.425 billion naira.

It also comprised Electronic Money Transfer Levy revenue of 15.146 billion naira and Exchange Difference revenue of 507.456 billion naira.

It said that revenue of 2.324 trillion naira was available in the month of May.
