The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, says fresh registration in the Continuous Voters Registration, CVR, has hit 10. 2million.
INEC said this in its quarter four, week seven, released in Abuja, saying that 6.5m registrants have so far completed their registration.
The commission said that out of the people that completed their registration, 2.9million did it online, while 3.6million did physical registration.
A gender breakdown of the registration revealed that 3.3million of the persons were males, while 3.2million were females, of which 53,663 were persons with disabilities, while 4.5million were youths.
