The Vice President, National Association of Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, NACCIMA, Tony Ejimkeonye, has expressed shock over the postponement of Saturday’s presidential and National Assembly polls in the country.

He made his impression known while reacting to the shift in the dates for the general elections in Abuja.
He feared that the postponement would affect the nation’s economy adversely, saying that Nigeria will lose billions of naira due to the postponement.
Ejimkonye, who is also the Director, Business Development for Africa, Esilknet Africa Network, said, it is unfortunate that the election was postponed.
He said that it would be difficult to quantify the loss in monetary term but maintained that the real cost would be the loss of investors’ confidence.
He advised Nigerians not to be discouraged but go
and exercise their franchise next Saturday.
