
The Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC has called on delegates to the presidential primary elections of political parties not to vote aspirants with anti-progressives credentials.
NLC President Ayuba Wabba gave the advice in a statement to wish the Labour Party a successful presidential primary election which held in Asaba, Delta state.
He also noted that the Agreement spoke about the prioritisation of investment in the education and health sectors and placed premium on the security of lives and property as the foundation of socio-economic revitalization.
The Labour leader stressed that the new Labour Party had been repositioned for workers, pensioners, farmers, market women and men, and small and medium enterprises operators.
Wabba however commended the leadership of the Party headed by, former trade union leader for working with the leadership of the NLC Julius Abure to reposition the party.
