The Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC Boboye Oyeyemi has directed the deployment of personnel across the nation’s highways for a hitch free Sallah celebrations.

The Corps Public Education Officer Bisi Kazeem who announced this in a statement in Abuja, directed Commanding Officers to collaborate with the COVID-19 Task Force teams and security agencies, to ensure maximum compliance with established rules.

It also noted that orders and directives on physical distancing, compulsory use of face masks and the use of hand sanitizers should be strictly adhered to.

The statement added that the special patrol had commenced since July 22 to July 30.

The Corps Marshal however, maintained that the deployment of personnel is to ensure free flow of traffic, prompt removal of obstructions and timely rescue services, in the event of any road traffic accident.

Oyeyemi outlined the modus operandi for a successful 2020 Eid-el-Kabir celebration and gave commanding officers matching orders to enforce all established laws and orders on safe road use.
