The Federal Government has declared Friday, April 19th and Monday, 22nd, public holidays to mark the 2019 Easter celebration.
The Minister of Interior Abdulrahman Dambazau in a statement enjoined all Christians to emulate Jesus Christ’s exemplary attributes of tolerance, sacrificial love, peaceful co-existence, among others.
He urged Nigerians home and abroad to use the occasion to pray for the peace, unity and progress of the country, irrespective of diversity in religious beliefs.
While wishing Nigerians a happy and peaceful Easter celebration, the Minister called on them to support President Buhari’s administration.
