The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Muhammed Abubakar, inaugurated three rural farm markets and five-hectare commercial pasture in Gombe State to minimise rural-urban migration.

The Minister of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, has called for greater recognition and support for arts in health initiatives.

In a virtual presentation to flag off the National Arts in Health Week 2024, held in Lagos, Musawa emphasised the transformative power of arts in promoting physical, emotional and mental well-being.

The minister reaffirmed commitment to championing the transformative power of art in health, well-being and therapy.

She urged Nigerians to work with the ministry to harness the boundless potential of arts to inspire hope, ignite creativity, and cultivate a brighter, more compassionate future for all.

Also, the Artistic Director of the National Troupe of Nigeria, Kaltume Bulama-Gana, congratulated the organisers of the programme on its successful opening and acknowledged the ministry’s valuable partnership.
