The Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption PACAC has called on the Nigerians to join hands in the fight against corruption for the development of the country.
Executive Secretary of the committee Sadiq Radda, made the call at a public education/citizen enlightenment exercise on Tuesday in Gombe, tittled “Value Re-Orientation and the Fight Against Corruption”.
He said that the fight against corruption was not only the business of government, but all and sundry.
According to him, 60 per cent of the nation’s resources is being allocated to States and Local Governments.
He added that from June 2019, Sates and Local Governments would no longer share joint accounts as the third time tier would receive their funds directly from the Federation Account.
In her remarks, Acting Director, National Orientation Agency NOA Adaline Patari, assured that the agency would take the anti-corruption campaign down to the grassroots.
