The Special Presidential Investigation Panel for the Recovery of Public Property said it is partnering Code of Conduct Bureau, CCB for more effective war against corruption.
A statement by Head, Media and Communication, Lucie-Ann Laha said that the partnership was struck when Chairman of the Panel Okoi Obono-Obla visited CCB Chairman Mohammed Isah.
It said that Obono-Obla acknowledged the position of CCB as the oldest anti-corruption agency in Nigeria, and commended the Bureau for its bold efforts toward achieving its mandate.
The statement added that the panel chairman debunked the notion that the body was a duplication of the CCB’s duties.
