THE Senate has resolved to override President Muhammadu Buhari’s veto on two bills that were passed and forwarded to him for assent.
The Senate said that it would override President Buhari’s veto on the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999(Fourth Alteration, No.28)Bill, 2018.
Also the Senate will override the President on the Industrial Development( Income Tax Relief) Amendment Bill, 2018.
The upper chamber has also resolved to consider and pass 11 bills that were declined assent to by the President as well as withdraw four of such bills.
