Reverend Maxwell Onyia, of the Anglican Church of Ascension, Enugu, has called on Christians to always be courageous and strong so as to succeed in life. He gave the advice during his Church sermon in Enugu.
He said that the presence of God in one’s life would not stop challenges; rather, it would ensure victory at the end of the challenge one might be facing.
The cleric noted that in 2020, everyone desires a goal, but that one must be committed to achieving the goal that one has set for oneself by obeying the word of God and walking in His path.
According to him, as long as one stands on the way of righteousness and truth, there must be a way of escape in every challenge. Onyia buttressed his sermon with the Holy Book, from Psalm 23 and first Corinthians 10, Verse 19.
