President Muhammadu Buhari has reiterated his commitment to complete key projects across the country before the end of his tenure.

Buhari’s Spokesman Garba Shehu stated that Buhari is determined to
finish key policies, infrastructure, and projects that he believes must be
delivered before 2023.

He listed some of the projects to include the second Niger Bridge; Lagos-
Ibadan Expressway; East-West Road; Calabar- Lagos railway; Maiduguri-
Port Harcourt railway and Ibadan-Port Harcourt rail line among others.

Shehu also stressed that aside from infrastructure, Buhari had earlier called
on youths to embrace agriculture even though he admitted the Federal
Government alone cannot fund the sector.

The presidential aide noted that to see growth in the sector, citizens have
to look beyond the government who he said is more concerned about
providing the enabling environment for agriculture to flourish.

He also said Kano now has an association of graduate farmers, who have
the certificates, BSc, MSc and are doing well in agricultural sector.
