Accord Party governorship candidate in Bayelsa, Diriyai Ebizimor has expressed confidence that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC will be neutral in conducting the November 16th election in the state.
Ebizimor, whhile speaking to newsmen in Owerri, said that there were strong indications that INEC’ had prepared for a credible, fair and peaceful election.
Ebizimor commended the security agencies for their proactive roles in enthroning a peaceful atmosphere in the state ahead of the election.
He urged party faithful to remain committed towards building a strong party in the state.
Ebizimor further said that he had no intention to leave the party, saying that his intention was to solidify Accord Party’s presence in the state.
He said that his party had programmes capable of turning the fortune of the state around if elected.
